FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT IS FUN FOR ALL!
DOORS OPEN AT 5:30PM | EVENT BEGINS AT 6:45PM/SUNDOWN
Open to the entire community, this is a fun event to meet other Rosewood families and join Friends of Rosewood as we present a special outdoor movie screening after school. Join us on the yard for a screening under the stars! ATTENDANCE IS FREE FOR ALL. Bring blankets, pillows, a sweater and/or low-sitting chairs, and enjoy a movie night out (on us) with the whole family! Those with larger chairs — please consider sitting towards the back so families behind you can see the screen.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: This is a parent-hosted event. ALL students must be accompanied by a parent/chaperone, and parents are responsible for supervising their own children. No drop offs without adult supervision! The rest of the school campus will be closed. Families must stay in the sectioned off yard ONLY during the event (this means no playground access).
Adult Restrooms: Rear side of P.E. Building (surrounding wall is painted yellow). Adults - please keep the door propped open as you leave, or it will lock behind you.
Student-Only Restrooms: Front of P.E. Building (surrounding walls are painted orange)
Parking: The staff parking lot (located on Rosewood Avenue) will be OPEN during the event. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Otherwise, please park on neighborhood side streets to ensure the safety of our children on the yard. Most side streets have no time limits after 6PM, but double check signs and aim for south of Rosewood Ave. to be sure.
WE WANT CONCESSIONS!
There will be pizza and other concessions (popcorn, drinks, candy, etc.), some Fall craft activities plus glow sticks and a Step & Repeat photo op available for purchase during the event to help raise money for Rosewood. You can choose to pre-pay by leaving a sealed envelope in the office with your name, child’s name, number of packages and dollar amount. Those who have already donated over $700 to our School Support Fee will have 2 meal packages ready and waiting for you, on the house, as a thank you for reaching the top tier of our contribution levels. If you would like to help us in running this event, we are in need of a few parent volunteers to help sell concessions, monitor the photo op and manage the kid zone (a space in which kids can let out excess energy away from the movie screening area). As a thank you, the first 10 volunteers will also receive a FREE movie night meal package on us for helping us to run this event.
